Perhaps you've heard of the Wii Vitality Sensor. Expected to come out next year, it looks like a heart-rate monitor that's placed on your finger tip.

It's a fairly radical concept. Here's how it's described by designer Satoru Iwata:

"Wii Vitality Sensor has great potential for various applications like measuring how horrified a player is in a horror title. What we are trying to propose first is a video game with a theme of relaxation, which is completely opposite from traditional ones."

The usage of this new peripheral could open things up to a whole new world or game play where your emotions, movements and thoughts are reflected in the game.

There is a new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game in the works from Ubisoft and Game Arts. Does the latter company sound familiar? Well, that's because that's the same company that made Super Smash Bros. Brawl, aka one of the five best games on the Wii.

The game, available only on the Wii, is being described as an up to four-person melee fighter. So, imagine the possibilities of finally letting Raphael beat the snot out of the other three turtles. And this better include Bebop and Rocksteady!

Other than those few details, everything is still being kept pretty quiet on the game. It currently has a release date of Dec. 31.
