Comments on: Is a 7-2 finish possible?

I believe the Browns are capable of winning that many. People love to be cynical and from the clubs past it's easy to get down on them. The questions now with having a young team are this….

1) Do we know how to win and win consistantly?
2) Can we keep the "team" mentality and not get ego happy?
3) It's the NFL, can we get lucky and pull off that many wins? Any real football mind knows there are multiple variables involved in being successful.
4) Can we find a new strength and conditioning program that doesn't curse this team year after year? The injuries and issues with key players is just Ridiculous!!

Everyone wants to throw Phil S. under the bus but he's the guy who has built this team. REMEMBER PEOPLE he had to build it from less than NOTHING!!!

My prediction stays the same. 9-7 and we pull the plug on Romeo. I never did like his ability to rally the troops. TOO PASSIVE!! We need someone who can come in and light things up!! Is Bill C the answer? Time will tell.

I truely love the Browns and would love to see them as a wildcard contender
but that will be as far as they go.Yes it will be exciting football for Browns fans but again and again we've seen that there is no more track for that train to run on.Oz for GM and "The Spitter" for coach.

7-2??? ha ha ha ha!!!! you almost made me spit progressive soup all over the table!

this team has ONE legit win. the win against cinci was atrocious and jax came down to a matt jones bobble in the end zone. the browns are a mess due to the bad coaching and joke of a g.m. really think anderson can handle the pressure? i don't.

4-5 is my pick for the rest of the year.

I like your optimism. I think we'll be battling for the Wild Card by the skin of our teeth. The new-age Kardiac Kids, at it again… but I love 'em, win or lose. Preferrably WIN! GO BROWNS!

Honestly, I prefer a scenario in which the Browns lose, fail to make the playoffs (which we all know will happen), Anderson is cut loose, Savage is shown the door, and we can begin the BQ Era without knucklehead distractions.

By the way, just who does pipsqueak Savage think he is, showing up (finally) in front of the media, and delivering a 29-second icy monologue ("Everybody got it? Staph infection.")…then disappearing in a cloud of green smoke? He has GOT to be the most unprofessional GM in pro football, hands down. Didn't think it was possible, but he makes Carmen Policy look like a genius.

The game that can save the season is Buffalo. Buffalo is good, but like the Browns last year they have played an easy schedule. Buffalo isn't a very physical team. I think the Browns will win that game, snow or not.
