Crennel needs miracle to keep job

In other news, it's cold outside. I mostly just wanted to forget about today's game. So, here is this story.
Among the notes in it, the Browns could be looking at a Schottenheimer. But could it be young Brian Schottenheimer, the Jets' offensive coordinator? Boy, I hope not. Here is who the article lists as a possible Crennel replacement:
Among the names topping a possible candidate list: Bill Cowher, Marty Scottenheimer, and coordinators like the Jets' Brian Schottenheimer, the Giants' Steve Spagnuolo, the Titans' Jim Schwartz, the Falcons' Mike Mularkey and the Ravens' Rex Ryan.
Ply your bets in the comments on who you think will be the new head coach of the Cleveland Browns.

I'm going with some guy named J.D. from some small school in Akron.

Just give Bernie the job. Then I won't have to hear his freakishly-weird commentary on the radio.
I really like Romeo as a person, even though circumstances have created a pretty bad situation to coach in.

Nobody on that list – except Cowher – is acceptable to me. I would rather have the elder Schottenhemier than the junior one. Now, as for Crennel let me tell you how tired I am of hearing what a nice guy he is. Who gives a crap! We are hiring a coach not a friend. The kiss of death for any coach is when the players love him. Players did not love Lombardi or Parcells, but they respected them and played for them. That is what matters.

I feel that Cowher should be the next coach of the Browns. He not only brings experience but leadership and knows the passion of the Cleveland fans and what it takes to win in the AFC North. I feel that Bernie needs to have more say in the front office or somehow with the offense. It's not fair that Savage sold Romeo down the river and with Cowher coming in he would be looking for paddles also. They passed on the great nose tackle from Baltimore for Wimbley and Savage says that he gives Romeo the players well he wasn't fast at signing anyone when Daven Holley went down like (Ty Law) or bringing in another talented receiver. Savage is as much to blame but it's time to say goodbye to Romeo and Savage.
