It's not easy to watch the Super Bowl for a Browns fan.  The arch-rival is playing a team Cleveland fans could always count on being worse than the Browns.  No one would blame a bitter Cleveland fan this year for not wanting to watch the game.  There are still several ways to make the experience enjoyable!

First off, make sure you sufficient snacking items.  Sure, maybe you should not eat some things, but why buck the trend?  The Super Bowl is the highest calorie consumption day of the year.

Play a "drinking" game with how many times John Madden mentions Brett Favre throughout the broadcast. Choose wisely, drinking too much Coke or Pepsi can cause tooth decay.

A gambler?  Why not make some interesting prop bets on the Super Bowl.

That doesn't wet your whistle?  Bet on Bruce's halftime show songs.

Feeling nostalgic for the days when Hasbro ruled?  Watch out for the teaser trailers to G.I. Joe:  The Rise of Cobra and Transformers: Rise of the Fallen. Maybe next year we will get a He-Man trailer…

Not much for halftime shows?  Maybe switch over to HBO and enjoy the new seasons of Big Love and Flight of the Conchords.

Mormons and New Zealanders don't fit your fancy?  Check out AMC, they are running a Death Wish marathon tonight.  Charles Bronson is one of the only things more manly than the Super Bowl.

Just not into the big game, OR the commercials?  Have a Super Bowl craft party with the wife and children.

There are of course many other alternatives to the game, but why bother?  It only comes once a year!  Enjoy the day, or let it pass.  Sure none of us like going to the doctor for our yearly checkup, but we have to do it.

Oh and if you are into the game, and you're still a Browns fan?  Just make sure you root for the Cardinals.  You don't want to be the person who rooted on the enemy to their record sixth Super Bowl championship.
