I watched Barrett-Jackson's first round on the Speed Channel. Lots of Mustangs, Corvettes and other entry level cars, which is typical Tuesday night fodder. Other than an absolutely horrible modified Cord, the overall quality of the offerinsg seemed to be up a notch from prior years. The biggest surprise was the number of bidders. The crowd was the largest I've ever seen for a Tuesday by far. It will be interesting to see what happens as the week goes on, more valuable cars are offered and the other Scottsdale auctions kick in.
