St. V-M Doc “More Than a Game” Trailer to Debut in Front of Crank 2

I’ve just gotten word from Director Kristopher Belman that the trailer to “More Than a Game,” the upcoming documentary on LeBron James’ St. Vincent-St. Mary High School basketball team, will be running before showings of “Crank: High Voltage” when it debuts this weekend.
“More Than a Game” premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival in September 2008, and was the first runner-up for the Cadillac People’s Choice Award for the festival, finishing second to the Oscar-winning “Slumdog Millionaire.” I was lucky enough to attend the Toronto premiere, and you can see my takes on the film here and here. In short, I thought it was fantastic.
The film is tentatively scheduled for an October 2, 2009 release, with a premiere here in Ohio sometime prior to the wide release.
