Say Goodbye to my Little Joe.

Joe Borowski is finally gone. This signals the end of the Indian's seaon. The fire sale is on. Expect C.C. Sabathia to be next. My guess is Casey Blake is not far behind.

Uh, you're a little slow on the draw there, buddy, if you actually believe the release of freakin Joe Borowski signals the end of the Tribe season. No, this season was over before it even began, because it was void of offensive talent LAST YEAR, and the brilliant GM did absolutely NOTHING in the off-season to improve the team. He rested on the team's laurels, which in REALITY was a total fluke. Otherworldly pitching, coupled with other Central Div. teams underperforming in '07, accounted for the totally-unexpected playoff run—certainly not a wealth of talent on this team! But Shapiro was fooled, and it's his JOB to not be.
John Hart was always PROACTIVE in upgrading the team, while Shapiro is always one season too far behind in acting. Is it any coincidence that his ONE and ONLY good move was the sudden trade of Colon–way ahead of the trade deadline? He has not made any such impactful, insightful move since then, and that was five years ago.
It's time for a new front office and new on-field management team. 'Course, we all know it won't happen…so get used to mediocrity, Cleveland.

You just repeated what I said with more depth last week. The Indians will never win with Shapiro and Wedge in control.
Where would we be now with Bradley, Phillips, Gerut, Ludwick etc. Wedge is ridiculous with his lefty/righty switches, giving the hottest players days off and his handling of the bullpen
