Short notice. IPMA-HR is offering their Midwest conference next week, June 5 – 8, in Milwaukee. Especially for those in the public sector, IPMA-HR is an excellent organization and they put on enjoyable conferences.

Public sector HR seems to be a topic that is underrepresented in postings and blogs about HR. Plus, those items tend to appeal to me. However, I am always happy to give advice or discuss the issue of HR managers just entering the field. On my Facebook page, I have a job site especially for those new to the field.
