Starn's stock definitely jumped in the state tournament, but that changes little about what I posted before about him. He is dominant right now at the high school level, but with better mechanics and more strength, he will get both in college, he could really see a jump in his ability. It has nothing to do with his stats. When compared to Tyler Skulina it is not even close. Skulina, as a sophomore is already a Major league baseball prospect and will get drafted. Starn has a lot of work to do, but could end up there as well.

Maybe you should check stats on Starn, who won both semi final and state final games...giving up 0 runs in four tournament games...also Cincy, Xavier, Miami, Y-Town State, Ball State, Toledo, and Creighton after him.
