Men's hoops scrimmages Michigan

by Jonas Fortune on November 2, 2008

in Basketball

Reports are beginning to trickle in about this morning's basketball scrimmage with the Michigan Wolverines and they are pretty much as expected.

Kentsportsreport.com is reporting that the Wolverines got the better of the Flashes for most of the quarters. Kent State's lack of interior defense was an issue, which shouldn't be surprising. The only returning big men are Julian Sullinger and Brandon Parks. Freshman Justin Greene and junior college transfer Anthony Simpson need to learn quickly.

The report also said that Kent State was quick and passed the ball well, but were erratic shooting.

In another bit of news walk on junior guard Tyree Evans and Simpson both did not participate in the scrimmage according to Rivals. Not sure why or if they even made the trip. I hope to find that out soon.

Check it out for yourself here.

P.S. The football team lost again this weekend. I didn't make the trip. If anything interesting comes out of the press conference tomorrow, then I will try and find some time to post it here. But I am currently sick of regurgitating the same things about them every week. Julian Edelman is fun to watch. The loss is on the players. Yadda-Yadda-Yadda…. They are sick of losing. PROVE IT!

Did you post a few of these things on another blog? That one post looked very familiar. Maybe I saw something about it on the news?

Are the comments here real or do you just make them up? The reason I'm asking is because they seem kind of fishy. No offense :)

I don’t usually reply to posts but I will in this case. I’ve been experiencing this very same problem with a new WordPress installation of mine. I’ve spent weeks calibrating and getting it ready when all of a sudden… I cannot delete any content. It’s a workaround that, although isn’t perfect, does the trick so thanks! I really hope this problem gets solved properly asap.
