Kent State seniors Ashley Feutz and Vaiva Laniauskas were named to the 2008 Volleyball Academic All-Mid-American Conference Team Monday. Feutz, an outside hitter, is a two-time honoree with a 3.24 GPA. She majors as an intervention specialist.
Laniauskas, a libero, is also a two-time honoree. She holds a 3.97 GPA. Her major is educational studies.
Sophomore Lauren Jones (3.55 GPA, Nutrition) and junior Jenny Keck (3.91 GPA, Middle Childhood Education) both received honorable mention for the 24 student-athlete team that was voted on by faculty athletic representatives across the MAC.
