Quaintance selected in NBDL draft

Former Kent State men's basketball player Haminn Quaintance was drafted in the second round of the National Basketball Developmental League draft on Thursday night.  Quaintance was selected 26th overall by the Reno Bighorns, a minor league affiliate of the Orlando Magic and Sacramento Kings.

Quaintance played last season for Bnei HaSharon in Israel.  'Q' was MAC Defensive Player of the Year and MAC Tournament MVP in his senior season, leading the Flashes to regular season and tournament championships in the 2007-2008 season.

Former Kent State forward Rashad Woods was also drafted.
