Curtis posts second round 71, should make cut

At this point, Ben Curtis has all but secured making the Masters cut.
Curtis finished today with a one-under 71, bringing his overall score to even par. He's currently in a 10-way tie for 32nd place, nine strokes behind leaders Chad Campbell and Kenny Perry. Tiger Woods is two strokes ahead at -2.

Kent State baseball rallies past Penn State

It was sweet revenge for Kent State baseball, as the Flashes defeated Penn State 4-3 today.

Kent State baseball defeats Malone in extra innings

April 1, 2009

Kent State baseball improved to 17-6 yesterday by edging out Malone 3-2 in 10 innings.
Freshman reliever Andrew Chafin pitched "like a seasoned Division I college veteran," the Record Courier's David Carducci reports.
Another Kent State freshman, Travis Shaw, drove in the winning run with a bases loaded single.
