Former Kent State quarterback Julian Edelman has already caught the eye of one media member at the Boston Globe. Patriots beat writer Mike Reiss already dedicated a quick video to the seventh round draft pick.

Porter going the way of Gates?

Kent State Heavyweight wrestler Jermail Porter, who was the first KSU wrestler since 1986 to earn All-American Status, never played a down for the Kent State football team. Heck, he never played a down at Firestone High School either, form what I understand.
