It was sweet revenge for Kent State baseball, as the Flashes defeated Penn State 4-3 today. The Nittany Lions (15-11) beat Kent State 9-2 last week at Schoonover Stadium, and led 3-0 heading into the fourth inning today, before the Flashes rallied for three runs. Kent State baseball improved to 17-6 yesterday by edging out Malone 3-2 in 10 innings. Freshman reliever Andrew Chafin pitched "like a seasoned Division I college veteran," the Record Courier's David Carducci reports.
