Kent State alum James Harrison signed a six-year, $51.75 million contract with the Pittsburgh Steelers today. This is a success story on several levels. In a battle of the top two MAC East teams, it was Kent State who bettered cross-town rival Akron 3-2 today. The Golden Flashes softball team improved to 7-1 in conference play, while the Zips fell to 6-4, and 23-14 overall. Junior starting pitcher Kylie Reynolds improved to 5-1 against MAC teams, and 13-10 overall. [...]
