Second MAC player drafted

The Detroit Lions just took the second MAC player taken in the 2009 NFL Draft.
The Lions drafted Louis Delmas, a safety from Western Michigan, in the first pick of the second round of the draft (the 33rd pick overall). Delmas was drafted ahead of notables James Laurinaitis, Rey Maualuga, Brian Robiskie, LeSean McCoy, and others.

Browns trade draft pick for ex-Flash Elam

The Cleveland Browns just traded their first-round NFL Draft pick, the fifth pick overall, to the New York Jets for former Kent State safety Abram Elam, and a host of others.
The Browns will also receive the Jets' first and second round draft picks for this draft, defensive end Kenyon Coleman and quarterback Brett Ratliff.
