Let's talk Real Estate -- Community Blog

A little Northside will do ya Good!

Real Estate- are we all so starved for interaction that retail has become our connect?
Why is retail where we socialize – restaurants and shopping is there anything else??!!! Lets explore my thoughts using the Northside Area as our muse.
The Northside district has become my hotspot! I can't get enough for various reasons – the first and foremost is Vegiterranean. I am far from vegan but I can't get enough of their patio!!! It has become my addiction – why!! SO – I began to ask myself – what about this space attracts me repeatedly. There is a whole spectrum of answers that are obvious; (ie: Location (x3 ha), it's new, and it has a distinguished niche.) But is there something deeper? I feel like it is an escape!! It is a fun, trendy, and exciting place to be – the character watching is great!!! People in the community have talked about the Northside with a range of adjectives (from amazing to insane) For all intensive purposes – it is ARGUABLY not the greatest location in the city (although I disagree – we will get to that), it has little visibility, and very is destination oriented OR IS IT!!!
I am a firm believer in the "If you build it, they will come" theory. When there is truly a good or different product – and it something that is quality and adds value to people's lives – they will respond and support.
The Northside Area is special because it is open to everyone. It has something for everyone; art galleries, flower shop, exterminating company, and food!

I don't have a answer to my question but I know I like the sun, view of the city, and hearing the train! I want to hear what attracts you to space?
