2010 Akron Beacon Journal and Ohio.com Giveaway Contest for Cleveland Cavaliers Prizes

Official Rules

  1. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN.
  2. One prize per winner.
  3. Void where prohibited.
  4. To enter, contestants may fill out an entry form on Ohio.com. For an alternate form of entry, contestants may send in a 3x5 card with their name, address and phone number to: Akron Beacon Journal, 44 East Exchange Street, Akron, OH 44328, Attn: Marketing Department. All write-in entries must be received no later than Sept. 28, 2010. One entry per person per day.
  5. Enter the contest beginning Sept. 13, 2010, and ending at noon Sept. 29, 2010. All write-in entries must be received no later than Sept. 28, 2010.
  6. The drawing will be held Wednesday, Sept. 29, 2010. Sponsors will select at random 11 potential winners from among all entries received up to the date of the drawing. Winners will be notified by e-mail or telephone. If a potential winner cannot be contacted within 24 hours of notification, or a potential winner is ineligible for any reason, sponsors will select an alternate.
  7. The odds of winning are dependent upon the number of eligible entries received. Sponsors reserve the right to provide an alternate game date at their discretion.
  8. One (1) winner will receive the grand prize. Ten (10) winners will receive runner-up prizes.
  9. Prize is non-transferable and has no monetary value.
  10. The Akron Beacon Journal and Ohio.com are not responsible for lost or stolen prizes.
  11. Employees of the Akron Beacon Journal and Ohio.com and its agencies and franchisees and their immediate families (spouses, parents, children, siblings and each of their respective spouses) and members of the same household are not eligible to enter.

  13. By participating in this giveaway and/or accepting a prize the winner agrees to release and hold The Akron Beacon Journal and the contest sponsor and any of their affiliates, subsidiaries, franchisees, advertising promotion and fulfillment agencies, wholesalers, and individual retail licensees harmless from all tax liability, losses, damages, rights, claims and actions of any kind that may arise from their acceptance of said prize including without limiting property damage, personal injuries and death.
